cpanoutdated software package provides script to detect outdated CPAN modules in your environment, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cpanoutdated
cpanoutdated is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cpanoutdated package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpanoutdated *
You will get with cpanoutdated package name, version, architecture and description in a table
