binutils-powerpc-linux-gnu software package provides GNU binary utilities, for powerpc-linux-gnu target, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install binutils-powerpc-linux-gnu
binutils-powerpc-linux-gnu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the binutils-powerpc-linux-gnu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep binutils-powerpc-linux-gnu *
You will get with binutils-powerpc-linux-gnu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
