libgetopt-argparse-perl software package provides module to parse @ARGV with a richer and more user-friendly API, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgetopt-argparse-perl
libgetopt-argparse-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgetopt-argparse-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgetopt-argparse-perl *
You will get with libgetopt-argparse-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
