libgeographic17 software package provides C++ library to solve some geodesic problems -- library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgeographic17
libgeographic17 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgeographic17 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeographic17 *
You will get with libgeographic17 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
