libgeo-gpx-perl software package provides Perl module for creating and parsing GPX files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgeo-gpx-perl
libgeo-gpx-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgeo-gpx-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeo-gpx-perl *
You will get with libgeo-gpx-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
