libgdcm2.6-dbg software package provides Grassroots DICOM runtime libraries, debug version, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgdcm2.6-dbg
libgdcm2.6-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgdcm2.6-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgdcm2.6-dbg *
You will get with libgdcm2.6-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
