libfwsi-dev software package provides Windows Shell Item format access library -- development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfwsi-dev
libfwsi-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfwsi-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfwsi-dev *
You will get with libfwsi-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
