libfile-sync-perl software package provides Perl interface to sync() and fsync(), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfile-sync-perl
libfile-sync-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfile-sync-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfile-sync-perl *
You will get with libfile-sync-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
