liberror-perl software package provides Perl module for error/exception handling in an OO-ish way, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liberror-perl
liberror-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liberror-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liberror-perl *
You will get with liberror-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
