libedata-cal1.2-dev software package provides Backend library for evolution calendars (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libedata-cal1.2-dev
libedata-cal1.2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libedata-cal1.2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libedata-cal1.2-dev *
You will get with libedata-cal1.2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
