How to uninstall or remove libdynamicedt3d1.8 software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libdynamicedt3d1.8 package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

Uninstall libdynamicedt3d1.8 including dependent package

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdynamicedt3d1.8

Use Purging libdynamicedt3d1.8

If you use with purge options to libdynamicedt3d1.8 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libdynamicedt3d1.8

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdynamicedt3d1.8
