How to uninstall or remove libdsfmt-4253-1 software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libdsfmt-4253-1 package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libdsfmt-4253-1

Uninstall libdsfmt-4253-1 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libdsfmt-4253-1 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdsfmt-4253-1

Use Purging libdsfmt-4253-1

If you use with purge options to libdsfmt-4253-1 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libdsfmt-4253-1

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdsfmt-4253-1
