How to uninstall or remove libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe

Uninstall libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe including dependent package

If you would like to remove libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe

Use Purging libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe

If you use with purge options to libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdatetime-timezone-tzfile-pe
