libcpandb-perl software package provides Perl module for working with the unified CPAN database, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcpandb-perl
libcpandb-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcpandb-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcpandb-perl *
You will get with libcpandb-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
