libbluetooth-dev software package provides Development files for using the BlueZ Linux Bluetooth library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbluetooth-dev
libbluetooth-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbluetooth-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbluetooth-dev *
You will get with libbluetooth-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
