libbio-primerdesigner-perl software package provides Perl module to design PCR primers using primer3 and epcr, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbio-primerdesigner-perl
libbio-primerdesigner-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbio-primerdesigner-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbio-primerdesigner-perl *
You will get with libbio-primerdesigner-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
