libbio-asn1-entrezgene-perl software package provides parser for NCBI Entrez Gene and NCBI Sequence records, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbio-asn1-entrezgene-perl
libbio-asn1-entrezgene-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbio-asn1-entrezgene-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbio-asn1-entrezgene-perl *
