libarmci-mpi-dev software package provides ARMCI-MPI (Development version), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libarmci-mpi-dev
libarmci-mpi-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libarmci-mpi-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libarmci-mpi-dev *
You will get with libarmci-mpi-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
