libarmadillo6 software package provides streamlined C++ linear algebra library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libarmadillo6
libarmadillo6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libarmadillo6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libarmadillo6 *
You will get with libarmadillo6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
