How to uninstall or remove libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl

Uninstall libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl including dependent package

If you would like to remove libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl

Use Purging libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl

If you use with purge options to libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libalt-alien-ffi-system-perl
