ldb-tools software package provides LDAP-like embedded database - tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ldb-tools
ldb-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ldb-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ldb-tools *
You will get with ldb-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
