kwin-wayland-backend-fbdev software package provides KDE window manager fbdev plugin, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kwin-wayland-backend-fbdev
kwin-wayland-backend-fbdev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kwin-wayland-backend-fbdev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kwin-wayland-backend-fbdev *
You will get with kwin-wayland-backend-fbdev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
