kdevelop-dbg software package provides debugging symbols for KDevelop, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdevelop-dbg
kdevelop-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdevelop-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdevelop-dbg *
You will get with kdevelop-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
