joy2key software package provides Translate joystick movements into equivalent keystrokes, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install joy2key
joy2key is installed in your system.
Make ensure the joy2key package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep joy2key *
You will get with joy2key package name, version, architecture and description in a table
