jardiff software package provides tool to visualise API differences between two JAR files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jardiff
jardiff is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jardiff package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jardiff *
You will get with jardiff package name, version, architecture and description in a table
