How to Install gxine software package in Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

gxine software package provides the xine video player, GTK+/Gnome user interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gxine

gxine is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gxine package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gxine *

You will get with gxine package name, version, architecture and description in a table
