golang-redhat-audit-dev software package provides Go client bindings for the libaudit library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-redhat-audit-dev
golang-redhat-audit-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-redhat-audit-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-redhat-audit-dev *
You will get with golang-redhat-audit-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
