golang-github-mattn-go-runewid software package provides functions to get fixed width of the character or string, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-mattn-go-runewid
golang-github-mattn-go-runewid is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-mattn-go-runewid package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-mattn-go-runewid*
You will get with golang-github-mattn-go-runewid package name, version, architecture and description in a table
