golang-github-docker-leadershi software package provides distributed leader election using docker/libkv, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-docker-leadershi
golang-github-docker-leadershi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-docker-leadershi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-docker-leadershi*
You will get with golang-github-docker-leadershi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
