gnome-shell-extensions-gpaste software package provides GPaste extension for GNOME Shell, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-shell-extensions-gpaste
gnome-shell-extensions-gpaste is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-shell-extensions-gpaste package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-shell-extensions-gpaste *
You will get with gnome-shell-extensions-gpaste package name, version, architecture and description in a table
