gnome-music software package provides Music is the new GNOME music playing application, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-music
gnome-music is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-music package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-music *
You will get with gnome-music package name, version, architecture and description in a table
