gnocchi-metricd software package provides Metric as a Service - metric daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnocchi-metricd
gnocchi-metricd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnocchi-metricd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnocchi-metricd *
You will get with gnocchi-metricd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
