How to uninstall or remove gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu software package from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu package itself from Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu

Uninstall gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu including dependent package

If you would like to remove gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu

Use Purging gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu

If you use with purge options to gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gfortran-6-multilib-s390x-linu
