garli software package provides phylogenetic analysis of molecular sequence data using maximum-likelihood, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install garli
garli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the garli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep garli *
You will get with garli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
