fonts-noto-cjk software package provides No Tofu font families with large Unicode coverage (CJK), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-noto-cjk
fonts-noto-cjk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-noto-cjk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-noto-cjk *
You will get with fonts-noto-cjk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
