firewalld software package provides dynamically managed firewall with support for network zones, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firewalld
firewalld is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firewalld package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firewalld *
You will get with firewalld package name, version, architecture and description in a table
