fcitx-qw software package provides Flexible Input Method Framework - QuWei engine, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fcitx-qw
fcitx-qw is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fcitx-qw package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fcitx-qw *
You will get with fcitx-qw package name, version, architecture and description in a table
