eztrace software package provides Automatic execution trace generation for HPC - tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install eztrace
eztrace is installed in your system.
Make ensure the eztrace package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eztrace *
You will get with eztrace package name, version, architecture and description in a table
