dindel software package provides determines indel calls from short-read data, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dindel
dindel is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dindel package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dindel *
You will get with dindel package name, version, architecture and description in a table
