cyrus-sasl2-dbg software package provides Cyrus SASL - debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cyrus-sasl2-dbg
cyrus-sasl2-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cyrus-sasl2-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cyrus-sasl2-dbg *
You will get with cyrus-sasl2-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
