bladerf software package provides nuand bladeRF software-defined radio device (tools), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bladerf
bladerf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bladerf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bladerf *
You will get with bladerf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
