bedtools-test software package provides test data for the bedtools package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bedtools-test
bedtools-test is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bedtools-test package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bedtools-test *
You will get with bedtools-test package name, version, architecture and description in a table
