affiche.app software package provides An application to stick little notes on the desktop, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install affiche.app
affiche.app is installed in your system.
Make ensure the affiche.app package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep affiche.app *
You will get with affiche.app package name, version, architecture and description in a table
