libkodiplatform16 software package provides Kodi platform support library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkodiplatform16
libkodiplatform16 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkodiplatform16 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkodiplatform16 *
You will get with libkodiplatform16 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
