libknopflerfish-osgi-framework software package provides Java framework implementing the OSGi R5 version, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libknopflerfish-osgi-framework
libknopflerfish-osgi-framework is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libknopflerfish-osgi-framework package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libknopflerfish-osgi-framework*
You will get with libknopflerfish-osgi-framework package name, version, architecture and description in a table
