libkf5filemetadata3 software package provides library for extracting file metadata, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkf5filemetadata3
libkf5filemetadata3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkf5filemetadata3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkf5filemetadata3 *
You will get with libkf5filemetadata3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
