How to uninstall or remove libkcmutils4 software package from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libkcmutils4 package itself from Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libkcmutils4

Uninstall libkcmutils4 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libkcmutils4 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libkcmutils4

Use Purging libkcmutils4

If you use with purge options to libkcmutils4 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libkcmutils4

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libkcmutils4
