libjsr311-api-java software package provides JSR 311, JAX-RS, Java API for RESTful Web Services, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjsr311-api-java
libjsr311-api-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjsr311-api-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjsr311-api-java *
