libjetty8-extra-java software package provides Java servlet engine and webserver -- extra libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjetty8-extra-java
libjetty8-extra-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjetty8-extra-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjetty8-extra-java *
You will get with libjetty8-extra-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
