libjersey1-client-java software package provides RESTful Web Services in Java (client module), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjersey1-client-java
libjersey1-client-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjersey1-client-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjersey1-client-java *
You will get with libjersey1-client-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
